New Cancer Site Offers Hope

After launching BC Interior News last November one of the main things I wanted to attempt was uncover the next big website. Not necessarily looking for the best designed site, but a website that I think people will really enjoy. Last week a friend of mine, Dave Gonella from Salmon Arm, asked me to review a site he just launched. The site is called Remission Journey and from what I can gather the website is intended for people who have cancer, or know someone with cancer.

First thing I asked Dave was “Aren’t you trying to make money?” His response, “I have other sites that make money, but this one is more important and proves I have a soul.” Funny guy, but after looking the site over and what this site could mean to someone to have a platform to let some heavy burdens off their chests I had to agree that the site is important.

Sadly, no one has supplied the site with it’s first post. I am sure it is a matter of time before someone does and I think once this happens the ball will begin to roll and hopefully a lot of people will find solace from reading a post on this site.

So, to help Remission Journey and someone with cancer, go to the website and offer a cancer related story you know. I will be coming back to this website in a month or so to see how it has progressed.
