The Southern section of the British Columbia Interior is one that is rich in history. One important part of that history is its mining, which brought settlers and adventurers in search of gold back in the mid 1800′s.

This special occasion is hosted by the Han Knakst Tsitxw Transition House (House of Helping Hands) which provides a safe place for womenand children in need.
